- Customer and Billing Group Flags
A new field added both to the Customers and to the Billing Group tables - cflag and g_flag respectively. This field is customizable through the table 'customer_flags', which allows you to list all possible flags.
Possible use: Customers or Billing Groups can be flagged as Bronze, Silver or Gold club members. Customers who participate in a special
offer or incentive. Customers to target in the next show and so on.
To add flags to 'customer_flags':
Open the Admin Tools and click on 'Tables' found in the list on the left side. In the Menu Bar, click 'Table Mode' and select 'Select Entire Table' from the drop down menu. Select 'customer_flags' from the tables list found in the right side. Click 'Action' on the Menu Bar. The entire table opens. Leave the first column empty, as it is reserved for an automatic accumulating number, and enter the flags in the column titled "flag". You can enter as many flags as you wish, each flag in a separate record (line).
To use with an individual Customer: Open the Customer's page and select the desired flag from the list found directly below the Customer's Organization field. Save the changes. The Customer is now flagged with the new flag.
To use with a Billing Group: Open the Billing Group page and select the desired flag from the list found left to the Address 1 field. If you wish to apply the Billing Group flag to all the members of the group then check the box titled "Apply flag to all members" located below the email field. This will apply the flag to all the members who are locked to the group. Save the changes. The Billing Group is now flagged.
SnapShot: The Customer's flag is visible in the following SnapShot views: Customer, Billing Group, Marketing Order, Invoice, Quote and Production Order. Note that if the SnapShot Status Line parameter is set to 'Highlight' then the flag will show in Bold type and Orange. The Billing Group SnapShot view will show also the "Apply flag to all members" status, under "Flag To All" line.
Reports: Using the Admin Tools you can create reports to reflect the various flags.
